This June, enter for a chance to win a waterwise Garden In A Box kit for your front yard. Yampa Valley Sustainability Council has partnered with the City of Steamboat Springs and Mount Werner Water and Sanitation District to provide five randomly drawn sweepstakes winners with a low-water-demand, plant-by-numbers DIY plant kit that will enhance your home’s curb appeal and help you save water at the same time. As a residential water customer of the City of Steamboat Springs or Mount Werner Water and Sanitation District, all you have to do is enter.

Simply provide your name, address and email and a photo — that’s it.
All online entries must be received by July 1, 2025 11:59 p.m. MST. Winners to be notified via email by July 8, 2025.

The design is for the front yard. This space tends to be a perfect spot for a complete transformation, as it is typically less functional than the backyard. Plus, all the neighbors get to see it (once you install it). Share a front yard photo and your name to info@yvsc.org to be eligible for the random drawing.
Yampa Valley Sustainability Council is partnering with the City of Steamboat Springs and Mount Werner Water and Sanitation District to conduct the sweepstakes. Winners will be notified in July, and kits will be available for pick-up on August 5, 2025 at Howelsen Rodeo parking lot from 5-7 p.m.
Only one entry per address will be accepted, and the five winners will be randomly drawn. City of Steamboat Springs, Yampa Valley Sustainability Council and Mount Werner Water and Sanitation District employees and their family members are not eligible to participate.
